Sharps Collection
|
Home health self-medicators who use sharps (needles, syringes, and lancelets) are provided Sharps containers and disposal free of charge. The Solid Waste Department funds this program.
Sharps containers are picked up at the participating pharmacies and returned to the same location when full. The transport and disposal of the Sharps containers are done according to DNR regulations.
